Summer Polo Shirt

No matter how eager the person is to look elegant always and everywhere, the environment dictates the conditions with which he is forced to reckon with. At least in two cases, the complexity of the problem increases: the frost and the summer heat makes us compromise. Very simple to look stylish in spring and autumn when good pants, shirt and jacket — a win-win set — is able to decorate any man and to hide the flaws of irregular shapes. In the heat is not enough without short sleeves, and here we have to choose from options not so elegant: t-shirt, Polo shirt or short sleeve. If the first two are not controversial in the legitimacy in the men's wardrobe, the latter is sometimes hotly contested.

I once asked here: How do you feel about shirts with short sleeves? Must have or must die?”

Must have means that the item is necessary and so universal that to do without it, not when compiling a basic wardrobe. Can that really be said about the short-sleeve? Apparently not: there is always a replacement in the form of a t-shirt, Polo or Henley. In the end, in warm weather, roll up the sleeves.

Must die means that the garment is tasteless, completely outdated and has no chance of presence in the wardrobe of a man who prefers to dress well. At one time it was really so, but sometime in the early 2000's shirt short sleeve is gradually changing its status: the outcast becomes one of the favorite things designers. Today it can be absolutely easy to wear, to experiment with fabrics and patterns and even combine it with a jacket, but not too strict. Looks great this shirt collar button-down:

So, for summer it is a good choice, but under one condition: the shirt should feel comfortable. The most common mistake is the wrong size: I have to see or too large, their shape is lost, the sleeves — like wings, or too narrow, which look like tear along the seam:

If the man on the left looks far from any fashionable ambitions, it is on the right in the photo we see too the underlined bit ridiculous the desire to focus on the relief of muscle. And the other option, I suppose, a reasonable reader will reject.

Correct size the shirts should simply and naturally encircle your torso, without the accent of vanity, but without the extra simplicity (I do not know, whether clearly expressed).

The sleeve should reach about mid-bicep, giving his arm enough space even in a bent position. The cutting might be fitted (slim) or a classic that gives a little more freedom at the waist. Length matters: when the show of hands, the shirt must not get out from the pants; if you wear untucked, the length should be not too big and not too small:

Currently, you can find both expensive options, such as mens sports Polo shirt and mens beach cotton shirts. In any case, it is now very convenient time to buy, as almost everywhere there are discounts, but before the end of the summer season is still far away.
